Drake Lucas

I’m based in Brooklyn and work in non-profit communications. I love New York City, but that doesn’t keep me here all the time. I’ve traveled to over 20 countries and have a long list of others I need to get to (Greece, Cuba, Kenya…). Before New York, I was a journalist in the Boston area. Before that, I was teaching English in France, working in Glacier National Park, back-packing through Europe, studying literature at the University of Puget Sound, and growing up in the cow-infested town of Visalia, CA. What I’ve learned? A good whiskey and a good book makes everywhere better.
